A great morning working with The Stairclimbing Company – www.thestairclimbingcompany.com
My client was keen to find a method of getting up and down stairs when she visits friends and family. As the properties she would be visiting were not her own, it was not suitable to consider more permanent adaptations – such as a stairlift.
Therefore after much research we arranged a site visit with The Stairclimbing Company.
They visited with two models – one with an integral seat and one which a wheelchair would be used. As we were keen to source something which was a compact as possible we opted to trial the model with the integral seat. This worked really well on the stairs, even overcoming the fan turn at the top.
My client felt safe on the unit, and their carer managed to use the equipment with ease and guidance from Shaun the trainer who carried out the demonstration.
